Calacatta Marble: Origin and Selection
Calacatta belongs to the Italian white marble tradition of the Apuan Alps. Its character is defined by a light background and expressive veining, with grey or warmer accents depending on the variety and block.
Calacatta is a family of selections, not a single uniform pattern. Share your preferred colour palette, vein movement and dimensions; we can review current options such as Borghini, Vagli or Viola against your brief.
Available Finishes
Choose polished for a luminous statement or honed for a softer, contemporary surface. Brushed finishes can be evaluated with a sample for the intended application.
From Block to Finished Piece

Review the block or slabs for colour, pattern and dimensions. Approve the actual material before defining the cutting layout.
02 / Shape
Blocks are sawn into slabs. Cutting, surface finishing and edge profiling follow the agreed specification and approved drawings.
03 / Check and Ship
Pieces are checked, identified and packed for export. Arrange a live video review and request a quotation with FOB or CIF terms.
